Inspiring Everest Journey of Brain Injury Survivors to Premiere at Nepal International Film Festival
A new documentary titled The Everest Dream is set to premiere at the Nepal International Film Festival in Kathmandu. The film tells the inspiring story of traumatic brain injury survivors from Scotland who traveled to Nepal with the goal of reaching Everest Base Camp.

The documentary follows individuals who had previously suffered severe brain injuries and were told they might never fully recover. Despite these challenges, they took on the demanding journey through the Khumbu region toward Everest Base Camp. Meanwhile, the film highlights both the physical and emotional struggles faced during the expedition.

Directed by Nepali filmmaker Ganesh Panday, the project took around 18 months to complete. The film shares a powerful message that life after serious injury can still include hope and new goals.
