Adventure-Ready CFMoto 250 Dual Introduced for Riders in Nepal
The new CFMoto 250 Dual has been introduced as a versatile motorcycle designed for both city roads and off-road trails. The dual-sport bike is aimed at riders who want a combination of daily commuting comfort and adventure-ready performance. The model expands the lineup of CFMoto motorcycles available in Nepal’s growing adventure bike segment.
Performance and Engine Features
The motorcycle is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled engine that produces around 24.4 PS of power and 22.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. This setup is designed to provide balanced performance for highway rides as well as rough terrain. In addition, the bike weighs about 154 kg, making it relatively lightweight and easier to handle on trails and uneven roads.
The model also features USD front suspension, a rear monoshock, and a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup, which are commonly used in dual-sport motorcycles for better off-road capability. It also includes dual-channel ABS, high ground clearance, and dual-purpose tires, helping riders maintain control in different riding conditions.
Expected Price and Availability in Nepal
The expected price of the CFMoto 250 Dual in Nepal is estimated to be around NPR 6 lakh, although the official price may vary after the full market launch. The motorcycle is expected to compete with models like the Hero XPulse series and Honda XR-series bikes in the entry-level adventure segment.
With its combination of lightweight design, adventure-focused hardware, and modern features, the bike aims to attract riders who want a capable machine for both daily use and weekend exploration across Nepal’s varied road conditions.
