ICT Awards 2024–25: Celebrating Nepal’s Top Tech Innovators and Leaders
The recent ICT Awards in Nepal recognized the country’s most innovative minds, startups, institutions, and digital solutions, highlighting the transformative impact of technology across sectors. The awards celebrate entrepreneurs, tech leaders, and organizations contributing to Nepal’s growing digital ecosystem.
Among the notable winners, Crimson Tech secured the Startup ICT Award for its entrepreneurial achievements, while API Management System won the Product ICT Award for its innovative tech solution. SpeakUp Nepal earned the Rising Star Innovation ICT Award for emerging talent, and GeoKrishi received the Asia Foundation Social Innovation ICT Award for its social impact through technology. The Public Choice ICT Award went to Zapp Services, while Bandana Sharma was recognized with the Ncell Women Icon ICT Award, and Prof. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma received the Pioneer ICT Award. Other individual honorees included Dr. Bishesh Khanal (Professional Excellence), Manohar Adhikari (Entrepreneur), and Nami Baral (Nepali Diaspora ICT Award).
In the institutional and service categories, IME Pay and the Supreme Court were recognized for their contributions to Digital Services and Digital Governance. Notably, Ambition Guru won the Digital Services ICT Award for its innovative platforms enhancing digital learning and education, reflecting the growing importance of ed-tech solutions in Nepal. Schools such as LRI School, Kathmandu and Sukuna Secondary School, Morang, along with regional startups including Delta Tech, Tejas Tech, Aviyantrik Karmashala, Akash Digital, Ninja Infosys, Business Online Services, and Far West Infotech & Research Center, were also honored for their excellence.
The diverse set of winners showcases Nepal’s vibrant ICT sector and the increasing role of technology in education, governance, and social development. Recognition through these awards motivates innovators, inspires the next generation, and reinforces Nepal’s commitment to building a robust digital future.
