UML Holds Public Demonstrations Across All 753 Local Units
KATHMANDU, Nov 11: The CPN-UML has organized public demonstrations today in all 753 municipalities of Nepal, demanding the reinstatement of the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR).
The party’s programme includes rallies and corner assemblies conducted in the presence of local leaders and activists across the municipalities.
According to Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML’s Central Publicity and Publication Department, the rallies and demonstrations began in the morning at the municipal level, aiming to defend the constitution and uphold democracy.
Gautam added that ward-level assemblies were completed on November 8 in all 6,743 wards across the country. Preparations are now underway for district-level public demonstrations on November 15, followed by a major demonstration in Kathmandu on November 22.
