Over 128,000 Tourists Visited Nepal in October

Nepal welcomed 128,443 international tourists in October 2025, marking a significant surge during the peak tourist season, according to the latest data from the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).
The NTB report shows that 29,060 visitors arrived from South Asia, followed by 23,127 from other Asian nations, 40,500 from Europe, 6,814 from Oceania, 16,407 from the Americas, 3,548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa, and 8,444 from other regions.
From January to October 2025, Nepal recorded a total of 943,716 tourist arrivals, signaling strong momentum in the country’s post-pandemic tourism recovery.
Among individual countries, India led with 17,298 visitors in October, followed by the United States (13,286), the United Kingdom (8,718), China (6,755), Germany (6,366), and Australia (6,177).
Other notable arrivals included Sri Lanka (5,535), France (5,045), Bangladesh (4,641), and Myanmar (3,038).
Tourism officials expressed optimism that the steady rise in arrivals reflects growing global confidence in Nepal as a premier destination for adventure, culture, and natural beauty.
