Rasuwa Becomes Attractive Tourism Site, Drawing Over 32,000 Tourists
Rasuwa has become a popular tourism destination, attracting a large number of visitors in recent months. According to officials, 32,672 tourists visited the mountainous district in the last six months, showing strong growth in tourism activity.
Tourists are drawn to Rasuwa for its natural beauty, mountains, and religious sites. Places like Langtang National Park, Gosainkunda, and traditional villages have become key attractions for both domestic and foreign visitors.
Local businesses have also benefited from the rise in tourists. Hotels, homestays, guides, and transport services have seen better income and job opportunities, helping support the local economy.
Officials say improved roads and better promotion have helped increase visitor numbers. They believe Rasuwa has strong potential to grow further as a major tourism hub in Nepal if facilities and services continue to improve.
