Gold and Silver Prices Drops in Domestic Market Following Global downfall
Kathmandu, October 26 — Prices of gold and silver have dropped sharply in the domestic market, mirroring a global decline.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, gold is currently being traded at Rs241,900 per tola (11.66 grams), while silver stands at Rs3,015 per tola.
Following the end of the Tihar holidays, trading resumed on Sunday with gold prices falling by Rs11,600 per tola and silver dropping by Rs265 per tola.
Just a week earlier, on October 20, gold was priced at Rs253,500 per tola and silver at Rs3,280 per tola.
In the international market, gold is trading at USD 4,113 per ounce and silver at USD 48 per ounce, according to reports from global media.
