Gen-Z Should Be Brought On Board in Every Programme, Minister Kharel Says

Minister Kharel has emphasized the need to actively include Gen-Z in every national programme, policy discussion, and development initiative. He noted that Gen-Z brings fresh perspectives to long-standing challenges, particularly in sectors such as technology, entrepreneurship, education, and social innovation. Engaging young people in decision-making processes can help shape solutions that are relevant, sustainable, and inclusive. Minister Kharel also stressed that meaningful involvement of youth requires platforms where their voices are heard and respected.

Stakeholders across government, civil society, and educational institutions are being encouraged to design programmes that offer leadership opportunities, skill development, and active participation.
