Police have arrested four individuals in Kathmandu for allegedly defrauding people by offering false promises of foreign employment. The suspects reportedly lured job seekers with attractive salaries and overseas job offers.
According to authorities, the suspects collected money from victims under the pretext of arranging foreign employment. Complaints from defrauded individuals led police to launch investigations across multiple locations in the city.
The police recovered documents and evidence related to the scam during raids. Officials said the suspects will be interrogated to identify more people involved and possibly help other victims recover their money.
