Bollywood Legend Dharmendra Passes Away at 89

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, affectionately known as the “He-Man” of Indian cinema, has passed away at the age of 89 on November 24, 2025. His death comes just days short of his 90th birthday, leaving fans and the film fraternity in deep mourning.

Karan Johar, a close friend and filmmaker, paid tribute to the actor, calling it “an end of an era” and sharing his grief over the loss of a legendary figure in Bollywood. Several stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, arrived to pay their last respects, marking a solemn farewell to one of India’s most iconic actors.

Dharmendra’s passing follows a period of health struggles. Earlier in November, he had been discharged from the hospital after treatment for respiratory issues, and his family had previously denied earlier death rumors that had circulated online.
